The 7th Corps of the Ukrainian Armed Forces will operate at the expense of "technolanding": the new commander spoke in his first interview about drones, robots, priorities and tasks of the corps. Hero of Ukraine Colonel Yevhen Lasiychuk was recently appointed commander of the 7th Corps. Before that, he commanded the 25th Brigade, which is called the "technolanding" for the extensive use of technology in battles.
Yevhen Lasiychuk says that under his leadership, the Corps will actively use aerial and ground robots, FPV drones, engineering systems, and artificial intelligence. He is convinced that drones should accompany a fighter in every assault.
The 7th Corps is actively preparing for expansion and already unites five combat units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. A special emphasis is placed on continuous training of personnel and the involvement of foreign volunteers. According to Lasiychuk, each brigade already includes foreign groups from the USA and Europe.
As part of the corps reform, the 7th Corps of the Ukrainian SSR will take up responsibility in the hottest direction – Pokrovsk. The corps' area of responsibility will directly include the defense of the city of Pokrovsk, on the capture of which the enemy has concentrated its forces.
