During another massive Russian attack on the night of August 28, 70 enemy drones were shot down in the Kyiv region thanks to interceptor drones. This was reported by the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Mykola Kalashnyk.

"Thank you to our hunters from the "Clear Sky" project. Thanks to their work, we managed to intercept seven dozen enemy drones. This is a record number of destroyed targets per night. But the most important thing is that people's lives were saved, villages and cities of the Kyiv region were protected. We continue to develop and scale this project," he wrote.

The head of the Kyiv OVA added that the alert in various districts of the region lasted for more than 12 hours. Damage was recorded in four districts: Fastiv, Obukhiv, Brovar, and Vyshhorod.

As you know, the "Clear Sky" project appeared in the Kyiv region this spring. It became a response to the tactics of massive attacks by enemy kamikaze drones. Defenders use interceptors to destroy drones in the sky.

On August 18, Mykola Kalashnik reported that almost 900 enemy drones had been intercepted since the project began. And on August 21, he stated that almost 50 Russian drones had been shot down overnight.
