Artificial intelligence UAVs are being used against Ukraine again. But now the Russians have equipped the drone with a gasoline engine, so it can cover a greater distance for an attack. This was reported by military radio technology specialist Serhii "Flash" Beskrestnov.
"An attack was recorded by the same UAV with artificial intelligence, but this time the engine was gasoline. This allowed to attack our facility from 100 kilometers away," he wrote.

Previously, Flash reported that the enemy began attacking Ukraine with strike UAVs of an unknown type - the first use of the drone, according to him, was recorded in Sumy in February 2025. Its use was also recorded in the East.
In early May, the specialist explained that the UAV is equipped with a 34 A•h battery, which allows it to deliver a 3 kg warhead to a distance of up to 80 km. The UAV is assembled 100% from imported components, is controlled via LTE mobile networks, and has inertial and satellite navigation systems.
"The UAV is equipped with a powerful 14 MP camera, a JETSON video recognition and processing module. A laser rangefinder is installed at the bottom, which allows the UAV to navigate using a height map. On board is a high-speed hard drive, which is filled with information for orientation with a volume of over 100 gigabytes. The UAV also has great computing power," "Flash" emphasized then.
In mid-May, a specialist said that the use of this UAV had increased on all fronts - 30-50 sorties were recorded in three directions per day. Shortly after, Flash wrote about a new attack, in which the UAVs moved in a swarm and recognized each other by the unique color of the wings from above.
