The Ukrainian company "Robotized Complexes" presented the "Tryminer" mine-laying drone at the International Defense Industry Exhibition IDEF 2025 in Istanbul, Ukrinform reports.
"The peculiarity of this drone is that the mines are placed not only in the body, but also in the wheels. The idea of using the space inside the wheels was inspired by the experience of ancient Rome - then weapons were also hidden in the wheels of chariots. This design has its advantages: in particular, the center of gravity is lowered, which increases the stability of the machine and its cross-country ability," said the founder and CEO of the company, Igor Chaykivsky.
The weight of the ground drone is 80 kg, the range is 10 km, and the base cost is about 120 thousand UAH. "Triminer" can carry three mines with a total weight of up to 35 kg and release them using a rotating mechanism. The drone is able to work not only during the day, but also at night - thanks to a night vision camera.

The development is remotely controlled and runs on standard batteries. It can be transformed into a logistics drone or used as a kamikaze drone.
"Its advantage is that it is lightweight, created using available materials. The use of aluminum, in particular, allowed us to reduce the weight of the structure. Accordingly, the weight reduction made it possible to use three wheels instead of four," the CEO added.
Another feature of the minelayer is the complete absence of welds in the body. Igor Chaykivskyi says that "Triminer" as a designer: is easy to assemble and fold. This speeds up and reduces the cost of the production and repair process. At the same time, the high arch, which is also removable, guarantees visibility in tall grass.
The CEO of the Ukrainian company is also convinced that robotic systems that are mobile and flexible to work in different conditions and help achieve results with relatively low costs will be increasingly used on the battlefield.
In addition, he reported that the company has already begun mass production of the tracked drone "Murakha". This is a logistics platform that transports more than 500 kg of cargo over a distance of up to 40 km. It has an active suspension with shock absorbers and can move over uneven terrain. The drone is equipped with batteries of its own production, as well as cooling and heating systems.
"Several specialized modules have been created on the basis of "Murakha", including the "Ivy" drone - a telecommunications device with a 10-meter mast, designed for installing antennas, radars and repeaters. All our developments have one goal - to save lives and facilitate the performance of tasks by the defenders of Ukraine, to replace them where possible. The task must be completed, even if the drone cannot be returned from it," noted Ihor Chaykivskyi.
Currently, "Robotic Complexes" is working on the "Mantis" and "Magpie" drones, but the details are not yet disclosed.
