Khartia's ground robot saves wounded infantryman's life

The Tor-800 ground logistics drone of the 13th Khartiia Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine saved the life of a wounded infantryman. The brigade's press service reported this.

It was reported that while the drone was performing a cargo delivery mission in one of the directions, the operators learned that a colleague nearby had been injured. So the drone was given a new priority task - to evacuate the wounded man.

"The infantryman was seriously wounded in the leg. His condition was of moderate severity, but the situation required immediate evacuation. It was extremely difficult to evacuate the soldier using traditional methods: the distance to the medical evacuation point was over 13 km, the road was impassable, and enemy UAVs were actively operating in the air," the report says.

The drone operators decided to use the equipment to deliver the wounded man to the medical evacuation point. The drone did get the soldier to the medevac, and this saved the man's life. The brigade noted that the medics later confirmed that a delay of even a few hours could have been fatal.

It was previously reported that Khartiia successfully evacuated a wounded soldier thanks to a ground robot that traveled 12 km.
