A drone from the Rubizh brigade delivered a 40-kilogram electric bike to a wounded soldier for evacuation

An unusual story of rescuing a wounded soldier took place in the Siverskyi direction. The "Force of Freedom" battalion of the "Rubizh" National Guard brigade saved its soldier by airdropping an electric bike using a drone to one of the positions that was surrounded. This is stated in a video on the battalion's Youtube channel.

A soldier of the 4th Battalion "Force of Freedom" with the call sign "Tankist" lost three comrades, was unable to evacuate from the position and continued to fight alone against the enemy. For five days, he was alone in the position, wounded, and repelled attacks.

The distance to our positions was one and a half kilometers and the "Tankist" could not get there on his own due to constant shelling. Our soldier was repeatedly attacked by Russian infantrymen, but drones of the "Force of Freedom" battalion covered him from the air, preventing the enemy from getting close to our soldier. In total, the command recorded the liquidation of about one unit of enemy infantry by the "Tankist".

To save the soldier, an electric bike was delivered to his position by a heavy multicopter. The weight of the electric bike was about 40 kg, and its delivery turned out to be a difficult task for the battalion.

The first drone with a bike on the way was shot down by the enemy, the second drone could not withstand the load and fell with the cargo, and the third attempt, taking into account previous failures, ended in success - the drone delivered the electric bike to the position and dropped it on the "Tankist".

The soldier managed to leave the position, but 400 meters from our electric bike, he was blown up by a mine. The soldier himself survived and was wounded in the leg. Then he still reached the Ukrainian positions on foot and was rescued with the help of another electric bike. The whole story of the rescue can be seen in the video below.

There have also been cases of rescuing soldiers from positions using drones in the past. One such case was recorded in the 13th brigade of the Charter National Guard, where a soldier was taken from the battlefield by a ground-based logistics robot, Targan, converted into a tow truck.
