130 brigades already have access to the DOT-Chain Defence weapons marketplace – Defense Procurement Agency

- 14 October, 10:40 AM

130 brigades already have access to the DOT-Chain Defence system, which allows the military to order drones directly from the manufacturer. This is stated in a statement by the Defense Procurement Agency (DPA).

"An additional UAH 1.5 billion has already been allocated for the purchase of drones through DOT-Chain Defence and distributed among units. Now 130 brigades have access to the marketplace," the report said.

The AOZ reported that a few days after the project was scaled up, there were already 36 orders for UAH 166 million. The first to place an order was the 116th separate mechanized brigade.

"The FPV drones received from the Defense Procurement Agency have strengthened the capabilities of the 116th Motorized Rifle Brigade to destroy the enemy and will be successfully used in the Kupyansk direction," the Defense Procurement Agency noted.

They added that they will continue to collect feedback from units to make DOT-Chain Defense even more convenient for the military.

In early October, the agency's director, Arsen Zhumadilov, stated during a briefing that the AOZ plans to transfer 70% of state procurement of FPV drones, heavy bombers, and reconnaissance UAVs to the new DOT-Chain Defence system within six months.

At that time, it was also reported that 12 brigades participated in the procurement, but later the system was planned to be extended to all others.

Among the intentions of AOZ, announced at the beginning of the month, is to add a feedback option and a rating system to assess the quality of products. Its launch has already been announced - on October 9, it became known that the military can evaluate ordered drones in the marketplace and leave feedback on their use in combat conditions.
