Denmark has decided to provide Ukraine with its 26th military assistance package, which includes aviation support, ammunition and the development of training infrastructure. The total cost of the assistance is 562.8 million euros and will be financed in the period 2025-2028.

"Unfortunately, Ukraine's need for assistance and support has not diminished. I am happy and proud that we can once again allocate funds for donations that will change the situation on the battlefield in both the short and long term. Denmark has been a steadfast supporter of Ukraine since the very beginning of the war. We will continue to do so in the years to come," said Danish Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen.

Part of the funds will be used for joint procurement of ammunition under the Czech initiative, as well as for direct transfers of shells to Ukraine. In addition, Denmark is investing in equipment for the Air Force and expanding training programs for the Ukrainian military.

The country's government has stated the importance of significant military support for Ukraine, which remains clearly expressed in light of the ongoing Russian aggression against Ukraine.

"Denmark is doing everything possible to give Ukraine the best chance both on the battlefield and at the negotiating table. The best thing we can do here and now is to increase military support for Ukraine and strengthen Ukraine's defense capabilities," said Lars Løkke Rasmussen, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Denmark.

As reported by Militarny, Denmark has previously transferred 20 Caesar artillery systems to Ukraine, partially financed the purchase of 16 Slovak Zuzana self-propelled guns and an unknown number of M109A3 self-propelled guns, and also agreed to the transfer of F-16 fighters and other types of weapons. In addition, the country finances the purchase of Ukrainian Bogdana self-propelled guns and supports the development of Ukraine's defense-industrial complex.

It also became known that Denmark plans to allocate €830 million from frozen Russian assets to purchase weapons from Ukrainian manufacturers, which will also support the Ukrainian economy.
