The Defense Forces are deploying the digital military accounting system "Impulse"
Ukrainian Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal announced the deployment of the digital military accounting system "Impulse" in the Defense Forces.
"This is a digital personnel accounting system that allows you to receive up-to-date data about each serviceman, the history of assignments, generate reports and draft orders. And all this without papers, quickly and transparently," he said.
According to the minister, "Impulse" is the first mass information and communication system (ICS) of the tactical level, which should be operational in every military unit. With its advent, certain changes will occur:
- Military units – get quick access to up-to-date information about personnel and quickly generate orders and other documents;
- Senior management – can make management decisions based on clear, transparent data for each part.
The first units to use the system were the Airborne Assault Forces. In the coming weeks, "Impulse", according to Denys Shmyhal, will be operational in the Land Forces and at the level of newly created corps.
The Minister of Defense noted that in the future, "Impulse" is planned to be integrated with other digital solutions for the Defense Forces: the application for the military "Army+", the Medical Information System, etc. This will create a single electronic space for personnel management.
In June 2025, it became known that the Impulse system was being tested in more than 20 military units.
