Ukrainian development support cluster Brave1 is launching a new online resource for codifying defense technologies. The site will be an important tool for developers creating innovations for the front.
Codification is the process of assigning a NATO code (NSN) to a product and officially including it in the system of providing the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine. Without this, state procurement agencies cannot purchase weapons and equipment for the army, even if it is critically needed.
The new Brave1 service includes step-by-step algorithms, document templates, design requirements, and examples of successful applications. It will help manufacturers go through the codification procedure faster and more efficiently, which is especially important in martial law conditions.
The platform already has sections for UAVs, ground robotic systems (GROS), and electronic warfare/electronic warfare systems. This resource will be useful for both beginners and experienced manufacturers.
In addition, Brave1 recently launched a new space, Brave1 Chat, for quick and secure exchange of information with the military about defense technologies. This will be a closed community in the Delta system, where the military will be able to receive up-to-date and detailed information about developments and technologies from manufacturers, as well as have direct contact with the Brave1 team.
