The Cabinet of Ministers has launched a grant program to scale up the production of explosives within the Brave1 defense tech cluster. This was announced by Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal.

"With grant funds, companies will be able to create or expand production facilities, purchase components, systems, and other means for the production of explosives. Clear, transparent competitive procedures, quality expertise, and product testing are provided," he noted.

The head of the defense department also noted that in total, the Brave1 cluster has already issued about 560 grants worth over UAH 2.2 billion.

At the same time, the Ministry of Digital Transformation clarified that the government has adopted a relevant resolution and now Brave1 will issue grants for the production of explosives.

"Each stage of the implementation of grant projects will be controlled by a commission. Technical expertise will be conducted by the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine to verify the effectiveness and suitability of explosives for use on the front," the Ministry of Digital Affairs said in a statement.

They also promised to announce all the details about the grant competition later.

By the way, in June, Brave1 opened a service for "mature" producers who do not need grants.
