The Brave1 military technology development cluster in Ukraine has conducted final tests of kamikaze strike drones with a range of 40+ km, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov announced on social media.

"Kamikaze strike drones with a range of 40+ km, capable of overcoming electronic warfare, are a new level of defeating the enemy far behind the front line. Brave1 conducted the final tests of such solutions," he explained.

According to Fedorov, strike UAVs are becoming a cheap and practical solution for the front, they are capable of achieving precise strikes at distances of 40, 50, and even more kilometers, and their production is easy to scale.

"Combat tests are ahead, and we are accelerating the mass use of kamikaze strike drones on the battlefield," said Mykhailo Fedorov.

The specifications of the drones have not yet been announced, but judging by the photo, the developers are creating UAVs with both a "flying wing" design and a more classic "aircraft" design. The photo also shows that all drones have piston engines.

It was previously reported that the Ukrainian technocluster Brave1 conducted tests of a dozen Ukrainian fiber-optic drones with a range of up to 40 km. Such drones are protected from electronic warfare, since radio waves do not affect fiber optics in any way.
