The US Army has implemented mobile workshops for the production of FPV drones directly in the field, Defense Express reports. During the JPMRC-X exercise in the Philippines, soldiers of the US Army's 25th Infantry Division are using the DEVCOM Mobile Weapons Development Command Laboratory, which allows them to assemble more than 100+ drones right on site.

This technology significantly increases the flexibility and adaptability of light infantry units in difficult jungle conditions. The drones are manufactured using a 3D printer, which allows for the rapid creation of strike drones in accordance with current combat missions.
The introduction of mobile drone production in the Pacific region allows adapting technologies to the climatic and logistical conditions of the islands, and also expands the possibilities of using modular UAVs.
The US took an example from Ukraine, where such workshops and laboratories are already actively used in the field. Recently, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine codified and allowed the "Nebokray" mobile workshops to be operated in the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They are designed for the repair and maintenance of unmanned aerial systems and devices.
The workshop has two variations – simple and professional, and weighs from 1.5 to 2.5 tons, which allows it to be transported by any military passenger tactical vehicles.
