Ukrainian company presents control system that can control drones thousands of kilometers away
At the DALO EXPO 2025 exhibition in Denmark, the Ukrainian-Estonian startup Ark Robotics presented the Frontier System control system, which allows you to control drones at a long distance. Defender Media writes about this.
During the demonstration, exhibition participants remotely controlled a ground robot that was located at a training ground near Kyiv — approximately 2,000 km from the event venue.
Frontier System is a development for controlling drone fleets in the air, on the ground and at sea. The platform uses artificial intelligence to reduce human involvement in operations and provides real-time video and telemetry transmission with end-to-end encryption. The system interface is unified for commanders and operators, which allows for effective coordination of equipment actions at a considerable distance from the combat zone.
According to Ark Robotics' Operations Director Denys Hlushko, the system is compatible with both the company's own robots and third-party equipment. The exhibition tested the control of the Ukrainian NRC "Targan" and another robot created by Ark Robotics.
Ark Robotics was founded in 2024. Its solutions are already used by 20 brigades of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, as well as the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Digital Transformation. Currently, the Frontier System is at the prototype stage and is still under development.
