Defence Procurement Agency purchased 500 ATVs for the military for almost UAH 120 million

At the request of the military, the Defense Procurement Agency has made the first major purchase of 1,000 maneuverable vehicles through the Prozorro system. The Ministry of Defence reports.

According to the results of the auctions, in particular, a contract was signed for the supply of 500 ATVs for a total amount of UAH 119.8 million. According to the defense ministry, this is 25.5% less than the expected cost. The equipment should be delivered by the end of 2025.

"The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine will continue to respond to requests from military units to provide them with modern equipment in accordance with the priorities of the front," the message said.

By the way, in early September, the Ministry of Defence reported that the AOZ saved almost UAH 511 million during the procurement of FPV drones thanks to framework agreements based on tactical and technical characteristics (TTX) - that is, requirements for the functionality and capabilities of drones.

The Ministry of Defense emphasized that the total expected cost of the purchase was UAH 2.058 billion. According to the results of the bidding, contracts were concluded for the amount of UAH 1.547 billion. The largest savings in a separate lot reached more than UAH 70 million, on average – approximately 25%.
