Ukraine will scale up its own production of drone components. This was discussed at the specialized matchmaking event Brave1 Connect, which brought together about 100 Ukrainian companies.
During the event, Ukrainian companies presented dozens of components - boards, cameras, control panels, propellers, and other components of their own design and production.
"Ukrainian defense tech was once associated mainly with drones assembled from imported parts. Today, we have a powerful component base produced in Ukraine. This allows us not only to reduce dependence on imports, but also to create technologies adapted to the current conditions of war," said Iryna Zabolotna, Deputy Director of the Innovation Development Fund.
The Brave1 technocluster reminded that verified component manufacturers can already exhibit their products on the Brave1 Market, where the military directly selects and purchases the UAV components they need at the front.
Recall that the Ministry of Strategic Industry is developing the "Components Library" project. 156 users have already been accredited on the digital platform of Ukrainian component manufacturers. They produce antennas, electronic warfare amplifiers and generators, battery assemblies, flight controllers, frames, propellers, FPV engines and other related peripherals, such as reset systems, servos, video amplifiers, warhead elements, etc.
