Xiaomi is actively expanding its presence in the electric vehicle market and plans to release another version of the YU7 crossover with a long range of up to 835 km. The company has submitted this model with a single electric motor in updated documentation to the Chinese Ministry of Industry, writes EVArena.
The model is expected to be launched in June-July 2025. The main competitors of the new product should be the Tesla Model Y and Xpeng G7.
The new YU7 will have a power of 235 kW (over 315 hp) and will consume only 13.3 kWh per 100 km, despite weighing over 2.3 tons.
The entire YU7 series will support 800-volt fast charging. Details on this specific 835 km version have not yet been released, but another model with 820 km of range will be able to get 200 km of range in just 5 minutes.
The YU7 is expected to be priced between 250,000 and 350,000 yuan (€31,500 – €44,200), depending on configuration.
