In May, Xiaomi unveiled the YU7 electric crossover, which is designed to compete with the Tesla Model Y in the Chinese market. Now, it has opened sales and announced the prices of the new product.

Xiaomi YU7 is available in three trim levels: Standard RWD , Pro AWD and Max AWD . All models are built on an 800-volt platform with ultra-fast charging and have a range of over 750 km (according to the Chinese CLTC cycle).

By the way, in the first hour after the start of sales, Xiaomi recorded over 289,000 confirmed orders for the YU7. For comparison, the SU7 electric sedan collected over 70,000 orders a month after its debut — and this was also considered a strong start, given the limited volume of supplies in the first period.
