Xiaomi has announced the start of the international beta testing phase of its HyperOS 3 operating system, based on Android 16, XiaomiTime reports. The beta program will start in Germany and the first users will be able to receive the test firmware on September 24, 2025.
Previously, the beta testing program was only available in China, where several models have already received the beta update. The company has not released an official list of devices for the global launch, but XiaomiTime, based on the Chinese program and firmware database, has named the likely models that will receive the update first. The list includes:
- Poco F7
- Poco M7
- Xiaomi Mi 9T
- Poco F6 Pro
- Poco X7 Pro
- Xiaomi 15 Ultra
- Xiaomi 14 Ultra
- Xiaomi 14T
- Xiaomi Mi Mix Flip
- Xiaomi Mi Pad 7 Pro

The update is planned to be rolled out in phases, similar to the Chinese version of the app. After the first wave, more international models are expected to be connected, until the stable deployment plan is complete.
To participate in the testing, users need to register through the Xiaomi Community app. It is recommended to back up your data before installing the beta version, as test firmwares may be unstable.
