Xiaomi 17 presentation will take place on September 25, 2025

On September 25, a presentation will be held in China, where Xiaomi will introduce the new Xiaomi 17, 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max smartphones, which the company announced recently. At the same time, the Pad 8 tablets will be presented.

All three smartphones will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. The standard model, described as "the most powerful standard flagship in Xiaomi's history," will have a 7,000 mAh battery and 90W charging.

The Xiaomi 17 Pro, which the company describes as "Xiaomi's most advanced small-sized flagship in the field of imaging technology," will receive a 6300 mAh battery with 100 W charging. The 17 Pro Max, which will be the "most powerful flagship," will have a 7500 mAh battery and 100 W charging. All smartphones will also receive wireless charging.

In addition to smartphones, Xiaomi will also introduce new tablets Pad 8 and Pad 8 Pro, which will receive 11.2-inch displays with a resolution of 3.2K and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. Pad 8 will have a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip, and Pad 8 Pro — Snapdragon 8 Elite. Both tablets will come with 9200 mAh batteries and 67 W charging.

Recall that Xiaomi previously announced that it would skip the Xiaomi 16 line and immediately move on to the 17, as it wants to better compete with Apple, which recently introduced the iPhone 17.
