Xiaomi announced the launch of the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Ultra flagships in Europe

Xiaomi announced the launch of its new flagship smartphones Xiaomi 15 and 15 Ultra on the global market during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025.

Xiaomi 15 received a 6.36-inch CrystalRes-AMOLED display with a thin frame, a refresh rate of 1-120 Hz and a peak brightness of 3200 nits. The screen is protected by Xiaomi Shield Glass. The smartphone runs on the top Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and will be available in 12+256 GB and 12+512 GB memory configurations. The battery has a capacity of 5240 mAh, which should ensure long-term operation of the smartphone throughout the day, and the charge can be restored with 90 W wired charging and 50 W wireless charging.

As for the photo capabilities, the Xiaomi 15 received a triple main camera with Leica lenses, each of which has a 50 MP expansion and movable lenses. The main lens has a Light Fusion 900 matrix, an aperture of f/1.6 and supports PDAF and OIS. The ultra-wide-angle camera received an aperture of f/2.2 and a viewing angle of 115 °, while the telephoto camera has an aperture of f/2.0 and a 3x zoom. The 32 MP front camera is responsible for selfies.

Xiaomi 15 has IP68 protection, runs on the new Xiaomi HyperOS 2 operating system and is available in black, green, and white. The price of the new product in Ukraine is 36,999 and 39,999 hryvnias, depending on the configuration.

Xiaomi 15 Ultra, in turn, offers a 6.73-inch CrystalRes-AMOLED display with WQHD+ resolution, a refresh rate of 1-120 Hz and a peak brightness of 3200 nits. The screen of the new product also supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+ technologies and is protected by Xiaomi Shield Glass 2.0. The case additionally has IP68 protection.

This smartphone also runs on the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and has a configuration of 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of built-in storage.

The main advantage of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is the new Leica quad-camera, which has three 50-megapixel lenses, where the main one received an inch sensor with an aperture of f/1.6 , and the ultra-wide-angle and telephoto lenses, with apertures of f/2.2 and f/1.8, respectively, also have movable lenses. The fourth lens is the latest 200 MP ultra-telephoto camera with an aperture of f/2.6 and 4.3x optical zoom , which has an equivalent focal length of 100 mm. In front, the smartphone has a 32 MP front camera. The main camera also supports laser focusing, has a color spectrum sensor and a dual flash.

Xiaomi 15 Ultra has a 5410 mAh battery. The model supports 90W wired fast charging and 80W wireless fast charging.
