Google introduces new AI features for Workspace, including creating podcasts from a document in Google Docs

Google has announced a set of new AI features in Workspace for enterprise customers. One of those features is the ability to create podcasts from documents in Google Docs.

The company first added this feature to NotebookLM in the fall of 2024, but the service is not available in Ukraine. Now the feature is becoming available to Workspace users worldwide. Artificial intelligence will be able not only to voice the text in the document, but also to generate a podcast with two hosts who will discuss the material.

Google has not yet released a list of languages it supports, but the feature should become available in the coming weeks.

There will also be a Help me refine feature, which will act as a personal AI editor and provide advice on how to improve your written text. This feature is scheduled to be available this quarter.

Google Sheets will also feature a new feature called Help me analyze. Gemini will be able to analyze data in a spreadsheet, generate illustrative charts, and identify trends. This feature is expected to be available by the end of 2025.
