WhatsApp Web will soon have a centralized media hub to manage all your files

Meta is preparing a new feature for WhatsApp Web that will allow users to easily find and manage all the media files sent in chats, WABetaInfo reports. The new media hub will be a single place to view images, videos, GIFs, documents, and links received or sent across all chats.

The feature, which has been spotted in the beta version of the messenger, will feature signature-supported search, the ability to sort files by date and size, and contextual information about documents and links, including the name of the contact who sent them and the date they were sent. Users will also be able to select multiple files at once to delete, forward, or download them.

Unlike the mobile version of WhatsApp, where media management is less convenient, the new web tool is designed to make the process of finding and organizing files much easier. This feature is expected to become available in future updates, although the exact launch date is not yet known. This innovation could significantly improve the user experience, allowing you to quickly find important files without having to go through each chat individually.
