All six clans will be available in the base version of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2
Publisher Paradox Interactive has announced that the Lasombra and Toreador clans will be available in the base version of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2. This will make all six clans available to all players at once.
White Wolf Executive Vice President Marco Bermann explains that the developers decided to include both clans in the base game due to player feedback.
In addition, two story expansions were announced — Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 – Loose Cannon and The Flower & the Flame. They will allow players to explore Seattle through the eyes of Camarilla Sheriff Benny Muldoon and Primogene Isabella Moore. Both expansions will be included in the Expansion Pass for the premium edition and will be released in 2026.
In Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, players will spend nine nights in Seattle as Vampire Elder Fyre, navigating the insidious politics of the Camarilla Court and reclaiming her full vampire power. Along the way, Fyre is pursued and guided by the voice of Fabien, a Malkavian detective whose fractured perception of reality offers both insight and unease.
Players can choose from six clans, each with their own playstyles, costumes, and Disciplines: the rebellious Brujah, the blood sorcerer Tremere, the justice-fighters Banu Hakim, the persuasive Ventrue, the magical Toreador, and the shadow masters Lasombra.
Recall that Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 will be released on October 21, 2025 after years of development problems and a studio change in 2023. The game is a sequel to 2004's Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines, which has been in development since 2015 and was officially announced in 2019.
