Microsoft is preparing to unveil its new devices — the Surface Laptop 13" and the Surface Pro 12" — which are set to launch on May 6. Official marketing materials obtained by Winfuture reveal almost all the information about the Surface Pro 12". The site has also already published materials about the Surface Laptop 13".
The new tablet has an updated design with smoothed corners and a 7.8 mm thick metal body. On the back is a folding stand that allows you to adjust the tilt angle up to 165°.

The device features a 12-inch PixelSense Flow LCD display that supports Surface Pen and Surface Pen Slim for handwriting. Inside the tablet is a Snapdragon X Plus X1P-42-100, an eight-core ARM chip with a frequency of up to 3.4 GHz. The RAM is up to 16 GB, and the storage is 256 or 512 GB.
The Surface Pro 12 supports up to 16 hours of battery life and has only two ports – USB-C (USB 3.2), which are used for charging and connecting wired headphones. The power supply is not included, but the tablet can be charged with any adapter that supports USB Power Delivery and has a power of 27 to 45 watts.

The tablet will be available in purple, blue, and platinum colors, with a Surface Keyboard available separately in the same colors. Microsoft has not yet revealed pricing for the new Surface devices.
