Users cancel Game Pass subscriptions en masse after price hike, Microsoft website crashes

After the announcement of a price increase for Xbox Game Pass, thousands of users began to cancel their subscriptions en masse. Due to the large influx of visitors, the Game Pass cancellation page was working intermittently, reports The Gamer.

Microsoft has announced a significant increase in the cost of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate - now the subscription will cost $29.99 per month instead of the previous $19.99. Users complain that when trying to cancel their subscription, the Microsoft page constantly freezes or works extremely slowly.

For Ukrainian players, the main changes concern PC Game Pass. In our region, the subscription price has changed from 230 to 290 hryvnias.
