Epic Games Store finally got a Ukrainian interface

Epic Games has added Ukrainian to its store interface on PC and mobile devices. The update covers not only menus and settings, but also email notifications.

Before the update, the interface was localized in over 17 languages, including Russian, and now Ukrainian among them. To switch the language on a PC, you need to open the settings with the profile icon in the upper right corner, and in the mobile application the language is adjusted to the system.

Currently, only the main interface of the store has been translated into Ukrainian, and the game descriptions remain in English for now, but over time they also plan to be localized.

The section with the distribution of free games is now called "Free Games". By the way, they are currently giving away the medical tycoon Two Point Hospital.

As for the Ukrainian language, its use on various platforms has been steadily growing in recent years. For example, according to the latest Steam survey, the share of Ukrainian-speaking players now amounts to 0.73% of all users. Thus, Ukrainian is ranked 14th in popularity among all languages on Steam, surpassing Italian and Czech.
