The full release of the Ukrainian game Ocean Keeper: Dome Survival from the RetroStyle Games studio has taken place. The game appeared in Steam Early Access in July 2024 under the name Codename: Ocean Keeper and has finally reached version 1.0
Ocean Keeper: Dome Survival is an action/RPG with Tower Defense elements, a mix of Vampire Survivors and Dome Keeper set on the ocean floor. You have to destroy monsters, search for resources in caves, upgrade your device, and fight bosses.
Ocean Keeper: Dome Survival has a Steam rating of 85/100 and very positive reviews after its Early Access release. According to SteamDB, the game has already been purchased by between 16,000 and 30,000 players.
But the thing is, Ocean Keeper: Dome Survival is a pretty rare example of a Ukrainian game being released on all platforms at once. The game is available on PC on Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox One / Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Android, and iOS. It's really impressive.
Ocean Keeper: Dome Survival has Ukrainian text localization (there is no voice acting at all), and costs 187 UAH on Steam.
Interestingly, the Ukrainian studio RetroStyle Games, which developed Ocean Keeper: Dome Survival, also worked on one of the best games of 2025 – the puzzle game Blue Prince.
