Game broadcasts in the Ukrainian-language streaming segment play a significant role, collecting thousands of hours of viewing every month. However, two esports disciplines from Valve dominate – Counter-Strike 2 and Dota 2, which together account for 95% of the total number of views. Among single-player games, the leader in the first quarter of 2025 was Kingdom Come: Deliverance II.
According to the Esports Charts report, Counter-Strike 2 usually overtakes Dota 2 in terms of views, but in the first quarter of 2025 the difference was especially large: the shooter surpassed the MOBA by twice the number of hours watched on Ukrainian-language channels.
CS 2 generated over 5.13 million hours of viewing, while Dota 2's performance remained at the same level as last year. The difference is that in the first quarter, five international CS 2 tournaments were held with a total prize pool of over $3.5 million, and four of them featured the Ukrainian team Natus Vincere.
Among the recent releases of 2025, the list is topped by Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, which was released in early February 2025 and garnered over 74.8 thousand hours of viewing in its first week. Other popular releases included the co-op game Split Fiction, the sarcastic simulation game Schedule I, and Assassin's Creed Shadows.
Among the interesting exceptions, it is worth mentioning Monster Hunter Wilds, which did not arouse much interest among Ukrainian viewers, although it became a real hit in the international segment. During the first week, the game collected only 7.8 thousand hours of viewing and did not even make it into the top 5.
