91% of Ukrainians are satisfied with the quality of mobile Internet according to the results of a sociological survey conducted by the Ukrainian center for public opinion research "SOCIOINFORM" at the initiative of the United Nations Development Program and the Ministry of Digital Economy.

The survey was conducted among Ukrainian residents aged 18 and over living in the territory controlled by the government of Ukraine. A total of 2,004 people were surveyed and the following results were obtained after collecting their responses:

  • 91% are satisfied with the quality of mobile Internet;
  • 96% are satisfied with the quality of fixed internet;
  • 89% are satisfied with the quality of mobile communication.

Half of the respondents also noted that they did not experience any communication problems during power outages. At the same time, the quality of mobile communication depends on the type of settlement, and the smaller the settlement, the worse the quality is assessed.

In addition, the study found that 36% of Ukrainians use two SIM cards, the main reason for which is the need to stay connected in areas with weak coverage. 60% of the population uses one SIM, 3% uses three, and 1% uses four or more.

Currently, almost all study participants use the Internet at home – 99.8%. Of these, 78% use fixed-line Internet, 52% use mobile. At work, this ratio is 57% and 67%, respectively. The numbers do not match, since in this survey it was possible to choose two answer options.
