A Steam page has appeared for the horror game Not My Floor from Ukrainian studios Megobari Games and Games4Wonders. The game takes place in the early 1990s in a typical Soviet BPS-6 series panel house in the Troyeshchyna district of Kyiv.
"You play as a tired, lonely factory worker returning from a grueling shift. All you want is to reach your apartment—Unit 699, on the 13th floor—and crash. But the journey home turns into a surreal nightmare. The elevator refuses to go straight to your floor, erratically stopping at random levels. You hear cries, whispers, and unsettling laughter behind the walls. The second elevator is out of order. The stairways twist into dead ends, even though they seemed normal just yesterday," says the game description.
As the authors announce, the game is in the early stages of development.
Interestingly, Not My Floor uses assets from another Ukrainian game that never came out, Twin Soul by Oleksandr Gorychev, who couldn't find the strength to finish the gloomy game after a full-scale invasion began. He put his work on it up for sale.
As for the Megobari Games and Games4Wonders studios, they already have several projects under their belt. These are the interactive story/walking simulator Ruinscape, the visual novel In Her Head, and another game about a mysterious house Strange House.
The release date of the horror game Not My Floor is indicated as Q4 2025. But there is no trailer yet. Full Ukrainian localization, even with voice acting, is promised. I'm not sure that there will be many people in Ukraine who want to at least virtually return to the 1990s, but this style is for some reason popular among Western players. As usual, we suggest adding the game to the Wishlist.
