If you're interested in 100v100 team battles that last for a month, then this new MMORPG is for you
Taiwanese studio Pumpkin Studios is preparing to launch a new MMORPG game called Warborne: Above Ashes, which changes the approach to massively multiplayer online games, NotebookCheck writes.
In the new PC project, players will engage in a battle between six factions that will last for a month. The game mechanics do not include character leveling, but rather reset progress every month, which creates a level playing field for all players and emphasizes tactical thinking and interaction between alliances.
Players will take on the role of Drift Master, a tactical commander leading a squad of 40 fighters. The game will feature over a hundred customization options and 12 character classes, such as Technician, Sniper, or Heavy Support, allowing for a variety of strategies.
The game also includes a diplomatic component: factions can temporarily cooperate, form alliances, or betray each other, which adds intrigue and tension.
The game's beta will begin on April 24th, and early adopters will be able to earn exclusive rewards, including cosmetic items, in-game currency, and even cash prizes. New players can sign up here. Warborne: Above Ashes is scheduled for release in 2025, but an exact date has not yet been announced.
