Trump's company smartphone shown in new image — it completely copies the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra

In June 2025, the family of US President Donald Trump launched Trump Mobile, with its own mobile service and a smartphone that was advertised as "made in the USA." However, this label was quickly removed due to the device's similarity to Chinese models and speculation by analysts that it would actually be manufactured in China.

The story doesn't end there, as PCMag reports that Trump Mobile has released a new image of the smartphone, which is interesting for two reasons. The first reason is that the new render is completely different from what the company showed during the original announcement. The only thing that both devices have in common is a logo with the name of the smartphone — T1.

The second reason is the uncanny resemblance of the Trump Mobile T1 to the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra in a case. iFixit, a company that creates repair tools and guides, says that Trump's company probably took a stock photo of the S25 or S24 Ultra with a Spigen Thin Fit case and photoshopped its color and logo.

This is confirmed by the rather prominent Spigen logo on the American flag. Trump Mobile declined to comment on the new image.

In any case, it's unclear what Trump's smartphone will look like when it's released, or whether it'll even hit the market. Although Trump Mobile has removed the "Made in the USA" tag from its website, the company is still advertising the T1 as an all-American smartphone. The site is still accepting pre-orders for the device for $499, and it's expected to be released "later this year," despite previously announcing a September release.
