Netflix has released the first full trailer for Devil May Cry, the new anime adaptation of the video game series of the same name. The series will premiere on the streaming platform on April 3, 2025.
The trailer is accompanied by the song Papa Roach – Last Resort and is filled with plenty of action moments, reminiscent of the once popular anime music videos (AMVs).
The first Devil May Cry trailer also confirmed the return of familiar characters to fans. In addition to protagonist Dante, it also features demon hunter Lady and his brother Vergil.
"When a mysterious villain threatens to open the gates of Hell, a devilishly handsome demon hunter could be the world's best hope for salvation," the anime's synopsis reads.
Devil May Cry is executive produced by Adi Shankar, previously known for his work on another anime adaptation of the Castlevania game series.
