Netflix has finally released the official trailer for the second season of Wednesday and announced the premiere date. The first part of the season will be released on August 6, 2025, and the second part will be released a little later, on September 3.
"This season, Wednesday’s journey is darker and more complex as she navigates family, friends, new mysteries, and old adversaries, propelling her headlong into another year at Nevermore," say creators and executive producers Alfred Gough and Miles Millar.
In the second season of Wednesday Addams, Jenna Ortega's character returns to the gothic halls of Nevermore Academy. She faces new enemies and challenges, and she'll have to rely on her trademark sarcasm and impassive charm to unravel yet another supernatural mystery.
In addition to Wednesday herself, the second season will see the return of familiar characters, including Tyler, as well as new ones. Joining the cast is Joanna Lumley as Hester Frump, Morticia's mother and Wednesday's close ally. In addition, Steve Buscemi will play the new headmaster of Nevermore Academy, named Dort.
