The Witcher 3 launched on the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra smartwatch

The internet has already seen a number of retro games being run on various screens, including smartwatches. Now, users have taken it a step further and launched The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra.

A Reddit user with the nickname BranaMitrovicFloyd shared a video in the Galaxy Watch community, where he launched the GeForce Now cloud gaming service on Samsung's premium smartwatch, and through it he managed to open The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

As you can see from the video, the Galaxy Watch Ultra supports touch input, although it's unlikely to be the most convenient method of gaming, considering the watch only has a 1.5-inch display.

BranaMitrovicFloyd notes in the comments that you can easily connect a controller to the smartwatch to make playing more convenient - as much as is possible on such a small display.

By the way, this is not the first time that Samsung smartwatches have been used to run games. Previously, another Reddit user was able to install and run Minecraft on a Galaxy Watch 4. Meanwhile, another enthusiast installed Windows 11 on a Google Pixel Watch 3.
