Bethesda presented a remaster of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
Bethesda Softworks has finally confirmed months of rumors by officially unveiling the remaster of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. The updated version was developed by Virtuous Studios. The game is now available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. The price is UAH 1799. The remaster is also available through Game Pass.
The game is built on Unreal Engine 5 and has completely updated graphics, including cutscenes that have been recreated from scratch. The developers have completely rethought the character models and locations, using all the capabilities that UE5 provides. So, without exaggeration, we can say that this is not just a remaster, but a full-fledged remake of the classic game.
Additionally, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered includes all the expansions that came with the original game. The developers have also added a third-person mode, but have kept the random dialogue and NPC greetings typical of classic Oblivion to preserve the atmosphere and spirit of the original.
