Steam will host the Ukrainian Games Festival for the fourth time — August 14-21, 2025. The event will feature sales, demos, announcements, and additional off-platform events. Participation is free for developers, and you can apply using the form.
The festival is organized by the Palaye team. Hundreds of Ukrainian games are expected to participate, including projects from GSC Game World, 4A Games, Frogwares, and independent studios. In previous years, the festival has garnered millions of views and received support from Valve twice.
This year, for the first time, the event will not accept projects that are still available on Russian Steam. Organizers emphasize that cooperation with the aggressor contradicts the values of the initiative.
In addition to Steam, the Palaye team is preparing additional activities to support developers and the military. Details will be announced later.
The festival is part of the Ukrainian Games initiative, which includes a weekly newsletter, the Indie Cup Ukraine competition, and charity fundraising. You can subscribe to updates here.
