NVIDIA has released a native version of the GeForce NOW app for the Steam Deck portable console. It allows you to stream games from the cloud in resolutions up to 4K and a frame rate of up to 240 frames per second. There is also support for DLSS 4 and Reflex technologies.
GeForce NOW extends the capabilities of Steam Deck, allowing you to run demanding games at maximum settings without straining your device's hardware. The company promises up to 50% longer battery life compared to running games locally.
The app provides access to over 2,200 games from Steam, Epic Games Store, Ubisoft, Battle.net, and Game Pass for PC. Among the available demanding new titles are Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, Monster Hunter Wilds, and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
The Steam Deck also easily connects to your TV, allowing you to play the aforementioned games on the big screen. There's also a free version of GeForce NOW to try out.
