It became known how much it will cost to replace the screens of the Galaxy Fold 7 and Flip 7 foldable smartphones

The cost of replacing displays in the new Samsung Galaxy Fold 7 and Flip 7 smartphones could become a significant financial burden for their owners, Sammobile has learned from Samsung's original spare parts suppliers in the EU.

According to European suppliers, replacing the main folding screen of the Galaxy Fold 7 will cost 761 euros (about 36,916 UAH), and replacing the external screen will cost another 525 euros (~25,468 UAH). For the Galaxy Flip 7, these figures are lower: 342 euros (~16,590 UAH) for the main display and 207 euros (~10,041 UAH) for the external one.

The above amounts do not include the cost of repair work if the repair is carried out by a third-party service. It is worth remembering that the standard Samsung warranty does not cover accidental damage, so you will have to replace a damaged screen at your own expense.

In Ukraine, Samsung offers a paid Smart Care service program, which can fully cover the cost of replacing the smartphone's screen or back panel in case of damage. The price of an annual Smart Care certificate for the Fold 7 will cost approximately UAH 9,350, and for the Flip 7 - from UAH 5,500.

Although the screens of Samsung's new foldable models have increased reliability, users should still be careful with them to avoid service costs. Pre-orders for the Galaxy Fold 7 and Flip 7 are now open in Ukraine. Their official price starts at UAH 84,999 and UAH 49,999, respectively.
