Spotify has announced a series of updates that are starting to roll out gradually. The main changes apply to Premium users, who will receive an updated play queue with a new design and quick access to Shuffle, Smart Shuffle, Repeat and sleep timer buttons.
The app has a new button to hide tracks that works across all devices, a Snooze feature that lets you snooze a song from recommendations for 30 days, and quick buttons for adding, sorting, and editing have also been added to the top of each playlist.
Also, in some countries, including the US, UK, Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand and South Africa, users will be able to create playlists of their favorite songs and share them with friends.
An updated "+" button at the bottom of the screen lets you create playlists, add friends, and join the Blend feature. Jam for collaborative listening and AI Playlist for automatic playlist creation are also available in supported regions.
