Sony introduces new WH-1000XM6 wireless headphones with next-level noise cancellation
Sony has officially introduced the new WH-1000XM6 premium wireless headphones. This is the sixth generation of the popular full-size WH-1000 series. According to Sony, this model has the best noise cancellation and premium sound quality.
The new product is equipped with a new HD noise canceling processor QN3, which, according to the company, works 7 times faster than the previous model. The headphones also use 12 microphones for more precise adjustment of noise cancellation in real time. This allows you to effectively block external sounds in noisy places. In addition, the headphones have a new adaptive NC optimizer, which adjusts to the noise level and atmospheric pressure, providing high accuracy of noise cancellation.
The WH-1000XM6 support High-Resolution Audio with LDAC, Edge-AI and DSEE Extreme technologies, which upscale compressed music files. The headphones are equipped with 30mm drivers made of carbon fiber, which provide even more accurate reproduction of vocals and musical instruments.
Sony has also improved wearing comfort: the new headphones have a wider headband that reduces pressure on the head during prolonged wear, and cushioned adaptive ear cushions will provide additional comfort during prolonged use of the headphones.
The new WH-1000XM6 provide up to 30 hours of battery life, and fast charging allows you to get 3 hours of playback in just 3 minutes of charging.
The headphones are available in three colors: black, platinum silver, and navy blue. They are priced at €449 in Europe, and actual sales will begin later this week.
