SanDisk introduces new portable SSD with PlayStation 5 design

SanDisk has released a new Extreme Portable solid-state drive, specially designed for the PlayStation 5.

SanDisk says the drive has been designed, tested, and officially certified for Sony's PlayStation 5 console. The device is IP65 rated, meaning it's dust and water resistant, and can withstand drops from up to three meters. With no moving parts, the drive is more reliable than traditional hard drives.

Extreme Portable supports USB 3.2 Gen 2 connectivity, providing data transfer speeds of up to 1000 MB/s. The device weighs less than 70 grams and has compact dimensions - 10.1 x 5.3 cm with a thickness of 0.96 cm. In addition, SanDisk provides a five-year warranty on this product.

The drive is compatible not only with PlayStation 5, but also with PCs, smartphones, and other devices with a USB-C port. The design of the device is made in the style of PlayStation 5, which makes it attractive to gamers. The kit also includes a monthly subscription to Discord Nitro.
