Samsung recently made some changes to its account policy, which will take effect on July 31, 2025. The main change is that starting July 31, the company will delete accounts that have been inactive for 24 months, reports Sammobile.

If a user has not logged into their Samsung account or used it to authorize the company's services for two years, it will be considered inactive and subject to deletion. After that, access to the account will be blocked and all data associated with it will be permanently deleted.

To avoid deletion, Samsung recommends that users log in to their accounts or use any of the company's services that require authorization by July 31. The company will also send emails to inactive account holders to remind them to log in.

This policy is intended to increase the security of users who have not used their accounts for a long time. Therefore, those who have not used their Samsung account for a long time should check its activity to avoid losing access.
