Samsung releases 4K projector that can track finger movements

Samsung has released the Premiere 5 projector. Thanks to an infrared camera, this projector can track finger movements.

Samsung The Premiere 5 is capable of playing 4K video on a screen up to 100 inches diagonally from a distance of just 43 cm. Thanks to its design, it can project images onto any flat surface, such as the floor, table, wall or screen.

An infrared camera and laser module allow you to control the projection like a touch screen: click on objects, zoom in on web pages or images. The system automatically adapts to the environment, optimizing image quality without the need for manual adjustments.

The Premiere 5 runs on the Tizen OS 9.0 operating system with the One UI interface, which provides access to popular streaming services and the ability to control smart devices through the SmartThings application.

The new product can already be purchased in South Korea for $1385. It is not yet known when the projector will appear in other countries.
