As we get closer to the official launch of Samsung's Project Moohan XR headset, more information about it will emerge. Details are scarce at the moment, but that's not stopping insiders.

According to The Elec, the headset will use OLEDOS (OLED on Silicon) displays, like the Apple Vision Pro. However, Samsung Project Moohan will have a slightly smaller display and a higher pixel density of 1.3 inches and 3,800 PPI. For comparison, Apple's headset has a 1.42-inch display and 3,400 PPI, while the Meta Quest 3's display has a pixel density of 1,200 PPI.

For such headsets, image quality plays a key role, because it is primarily through it that the owner's experience of use and the degree of satisfaction from interaction will be formed. And given the total cost of such headsets, the manufacturer has almost no room for error.

Also, similar specifications indicate that Samsung Project Moohan will obviously not be a cheap gadget either. It is noted that the cost of displays for Apple Vision Pro is $300 per one, and it is unlikely that Samsung will have them cheaper.
