Galaxy S26 Ultra will not receive significant changes in the camera and battery
The first rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra are starting to appear online, the presentation of which will take place only in early 2026. According to GalaxyClub, the smartphone will retain the same battery capacity, but it will become smaller.
According to reports, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will get a 5000 mAh battery, just like the Galaxy S25 Ultra and previous models. However, there have been some changes here, and according to UniverseIce, the battery will have a higher energy density to make the smartphone thinner.
UniverseIce also notes that the Galaxy S26 Ultra's charging capacity will likely receive a significant improvement as Samsung uses new technology to reduce battery temperature during charging.
As for the rest, there have been first reports about the camera, which, unfortunately, will not undergo major changes either. Samsung will again use a 200-megapixel sensor, but the publication was unable to find out for sure whether it will be completely new or the same as in previous models. It is likely that the flagship camera will not receive significant hardware changes.
It was also previously reported that Samsung will start using OLED panels from Chinese manufacturers for its Galaxy S26 series smartphones. In addition, the South Korean company plans to use a 2-nanometer chip in future devices.
Samsung usually unveils its new flagship smartphones at the beginning of the year, in January, during its Unpacked event. In addition, another Unpacked event will be held on July 9, during which the company will unveil the new foldable smartphones Galaxy Fold 7 and Flip 7, as well as several other new products.
