- 1 August, 01:59 AM

Samsung has confirmed that the new Galaxy S25 FE smartphone will be introduced earlier than last year's S24 FE model, which debuted in late September 2024. This was announced by Daniel Araujo, vice president of Samsung's mobile division, during the announcement of financial results for the second quarter of 2025, NotebookCheck reports.

"For the Galaxy S25 series, we will focus on maintaining sales momentum with seasonal promotions as well as an earlier launch of the S25 FE," said the vice president of Samsung's mobile division.

Although the exact launch date has not been disclosed, given the previous launch schedule, where the Galaxy S24 FE was announced in late September and went on sale in early October, the S25 FE could be unveiled as early as late August and go on sale in September. In addition, Samsung may also introduce the new Galaxy Buds 3 FE headphones alongside this smartphone.

The Galaxy S25 FE is expected to have minor external changes compared to its predecessor, but will receive improvements in technical specifications. According to leaks, the device will be equipped with a 6.7-inch AMOLED LTPO display with Full HD+ resolution, a 4900 mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging and an Exynos 2400 processor. The smartphone will be available in new colors: Navy, Iceblue, Jetblack and White, which will replace the Blue, Graphite, Gray, Mint and Yellow options. Expected dimensions are 161.4 × 76.6 × 7.4 mm.

In addition to the Galaxy S25 FE, Samsung is also expected to introduce new budget Galaxy A series smartphones, Galaxy Tab tablets, and the first foldable smartphone with three screens in the second half of the year. The Project Moohan XR headset is also expected to be unveiled at the end of the year.
