Samsung introduces Galaxy S25 Edge — an ultra-thin smartphone with a 200MP camera and Galaxy AI [UPDATED]
Samsung has officially introduced the Galaxy S25 Edge, a new model in the Galaxy S series, made in a thin 5.8 mm titanium body. The smartphone combines flagship hardware, advanced artificial intelligence capabilities and new approaches to design.
The Galaxy S25 Edge will be available in three colors: Titanium Silver, Titanium Jetblack, and Titanium Icyblue, and will cost €1,249.
The Galaxy S25 Edge has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with QHD+ resolution and a dynamic refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The screen is protected by the new Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2. The device weighs 163 grams. The titanium case is protected against water and dust according to the IP68 standard.
The 200MP main camera supports shooting in low light conditions with improved detail and color reproduction. The 12MP ultra-wide-angle module is equipped with autofocus, which also allows you to shoot macro. The front camera is also 12MP.
The smartphone runs on Android 15 with One UI 7. Inside is a Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor with a new cooling system: a wider but thinner vapor chamber. The amount of RAM is 12 GB, and the storage is 256 or 512 GB, depending on the version.
The Galaxy S25 Edge supports fast wired charging (up to 55% in half an hour), wireless charging, and reverse charging of other devices. The battery capacity is 3900 mAh.
The smartphone features a set of Galaxy AI features, including an offline image editor, drawing tips, video noise removal, and other tools. It also features tight integration with Google Gemini, allowing users to share their screen or surroundings in real time.
