A new launch date for the ultra-thin Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge flagship has appeared
New information has emerged about when Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S25 Edge smartphone, which was supposed to be announced in a few weeks. According to Sammobile, the presentation will take place in mid-May.
After previous plans to release the device on April 15, new information suggests that the Galaxy S25 Edge will be launched on May 13, 2025. The reasons for the delay have not been officially disclosed, but according to some sources, this may be due to changes in the company's management after the death of Samsung DX division head Chung-hee Han.
The Galaxy S25 Edge will be the thinnest flagship in Samsung's lineup, with a body thickness of only 5.84 mm. The smartphone is equipped with a 6.7-inch display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, 12 GB of RAM and options with 256 or 512 GB of internal memory.
The price of the Galaxy S25 Edge is rumored to start at 1,249 euros, which is slightly more expensive than the Galaxy S25+.
The presentation of the new product will be held online, but it is not yet known whether the smartphone will appear on store shelves in May. It is reported that Samsung plans to release up to three million units of this smartphone.
